2017 гг. Показано развитие миграционной политики Швеции в исторической ретроспективе, нынешнее состояние и перспективы развития. The author analyzes Swedish migration policy and its evolution in period of the 1905s–
2017s. In the article, the author is concerned with the migration projects of the Swedish
government throughout different periods in the country’s history. An active migration
policy was started in 1930s and was determined by a lack of local labour force of different
qualification levels and fast economic growth of the country after the Second World War.
In 1970s the government of Sweden introduced new principles of integration. After the
end of the Cold War people from Central and Eastern Europe flew into Sweden to find a
home and work places. In this period, Sweden also prepared to enter the European Union.
Today Sweden faces one of its biggest migration challenges in history.
